Paul and Louisa choose Clonabreany House www.clonabreanyhouse.ie as their wedding venue on December 21st 2012. A beautiful setting for their special day. Paul and Louisa had such amazing details... Thanks to Louisa's very talented sister-in-law, Christine, who made the cake and bouquets and check out the amazing Mrs Carr clothes hanger!! Vita from VP Flowers created lovely flower displays for the church and reception room in Clonabreany. A really relaxed day and an absolute pleasure to photograph!

I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Ray and Alex's on August 5th this year. Apart from Alex arriving in a white Cadillac and Ray looking the part, there were amazing details, it seemed every corner I turned there was something new to be photographed. I've been so busy this summer, I've finally found the time to show you what I've been up to... I captured Shane and Ciara's day on May 31st this year. A really lovely and relaxed wedding that took place in the picturesque Leighlinbridge, Co. Carlow. Dodging the showers, we found some shelter under the bridge and looking for something a bit different - the red door provided a backdrop to some lovely shots!

I’m delighted to welcome everyone to my new site. This explains why I haven't blogged in a while! I hope you like the re-design, which I think has a fresher and cleaner feel to it.

It's quite a task to edit all of the images I've taken and to choose images that will give some insight to what I am capable of creating. I didn't want to limit myself to one particular style of work, but rather showcase what is possible. The future of my site will be a journey of recent work of telling people's life stories.

Kevin and Sinead's Wedding

I've been dying to post some images from this wedding for a while now so thanks to Kevin and Sinead for allowing me to share. They got married on May 21st this year in Castletownroche, Co. Cork and celebrated in the Malton Hotel in Kilarney. We had planned on getting some photos at the Old Mill in Castletownroche but with the rain, we abandoned the idea. Earlier that day, while I was waiting to go to Sinead's house, a pub in the village caught my eye. The Spinning Wheel pub has a really quirky beer garden (and a roof too!) and I thought the white washed walls with all the colourful old signs would make for a great backdrop for photos.

Bud's First Photoshoot

For all you dog lovers, this is beautiful Bud. I had my eye on him for a while and finally persuaded his owner that he'd look good on camera, I was really happy with the results. Shot against a white background, open aperture and using natural light through patio doors - the use of light really compliments the texture of his coat.

Holy Communion Photoshoot

I photographed Ciara here - she made her Holy Communion in May this year. She was a true natural in front of the camera! These images of her were shot using one softbox and some ambient light on a white background to which I have used various effects to achieve a different look.

I recently photographed twins, Eliza and Harry at 3 and a half weeks old! They were 6 weeks premature and as you can see they're doing incredibly well! I had the hats and accessories especially made by Justyna from Babies Republic handmade baby accessories.
