Are you insured?

Yes. I have professional indemnity insurance along with public liability insurance.

Do you photograph engagements sessions and what is a good timeline to schedule engagement photos before the wedding?

Yes I do photograph engagement sessions. For engagement photos, I usually recommend as soon as possible. You will want to document the newness and the excitement of this time in your lives, you will probably even want to use these photos to order a guest book for your guests to sign at your wedding. I also provide hints and tips for posing which will be very helpful on your wedding day particularly is you don’t feel comfortable having your photo taken.

Do you shoot in black & white or colour?

I shoot digital files which I then edit myself - I look at each image as an individual frame and choose the most appropriate treatment to get the best from it - be it black and white or full colour.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes, I am based in Dublin and can easily work in venues across the country. I am happy to travel abroad if required. My wedding package includes travel costs within 20 miles of Dublin. We will agree suitable travel and accommodation costs separately if required.

What time do you leave?

My standard coverage is based around a 7-8 hour day. On a normal day, this up until dinner is called for. If you choose to hire me for extended coverage, I will photograph your first dance.

How can I get MOS Photography’s packages or pricing?

For latest packages, prices and availability, please contact me.

How do I book with MOS Photography?

Firstly, phone or send an email to check the availability of your wedding. This makes sure that I am available before we continue the process. In order for me to tell your story, I’m interested in your story and so I like to meet up with you before you decide to book me. I will also show you examples of my work and sample albums from previous weddings. If you do make the decision to book me I ask for a non-refundable retainer fee of €400 which can be paid by bank transfer or cheque. Unfortunately, I can't hold dates without the fee. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the wedding.

How long until our photos are ready?

Around 8-10 weeks approx.

How many photos will I get?

For weddings, it totally depends on the amount of coverage of the package you choose. Generally speaking, there will be anywhere from 300-400 images on your gallery.

Is there a contract?

Yes, the wedding package you choose will be outlined in the contract. Like the deposit, your date is not considered booked until I receive a signed contract.

What should I wear for a portrait session?

Don’t worry about this too much. You want to look like ‘you’ in your portrait, don’t buy an outfit if it doesn’t fit your style. If you have any questions, bring a couple of outfits with you on the day of the shoot, and I can discuss what works best. I love outfits with texture (wool, etc.) color, and style. Avoid patterned clothes, as well as logos or printed superheros on shirts (for children's photoshoots). Also avoid large jewellery, including watches. If you are having your portrait taken with more than one person (eg. family session) try and coordinate a colour scheme instead of the same exact colour. For instance, if you love blues, have one person wear navy, one baby blue, one middle blue etc. Or, if you want to bump it up a notch, choose complimentary colours. This works especially well for couples. Basically wear what you feel comfortable in, and what you wear in real life.
