What is a good timeline to schedule engagement photos before the wedding?
For engagement photos, I usually recommend as soon as possible, to capture the newness and excitement of this special time. Some of my couples even use their engagement photographs in a book for guests to sign at the wedding.
Is there a contract?
Yes. As with the deposit, your date is not booked until I receive a signed contract.
How many photos will I get?
This depends on the wedding package you choose. Generally speaking, your gallery will have 300-400 images!
How long until our photos are ready?
Eight to ten weeks, approximately. During this time, I'm busy editing your photographs, ensuring the quality, as well as the layout, allow the story of your day to shine through.
Do you require a deposit for weddings?
At booking, a non-refundable security deposit of €400 is required. It can be paid by bank transfer or cheque. I can't hold dates without the fee. The remaining balance is due on or before the date of the wedding.
What time do you finish?
In my standard Wedding Package, coverage is based around a seven to eight hour day. On a normal day, photography is covered up until the meal is called. If you choose to hire me for extended coverage, I can photograph your first dance.

Do you travel for weddings? Do you do destination weddings?
Yes. I am based in Dublin, and my Wedding Package includes travel costs within 20 miles of Dublin. I often work in venues across the country and am happy to travel abroad if required. If you would like to book me for your destination wedding, we can chat about your plans and agree on suitable travel and accommodation costs separately, if required.
Do you photograph engagements?
First of all, congratulations! Engagement shoots are a lovely way to document this exciting time, and make a great opportunity to build a relationship with your photographer before the wedding.
An engagement shoot can be especially useful for anyone who’s camera-shy because it’s great preparation for the big day. (And I have plenty of hints and tips for posing and dealing with nerves!)
